hello i have a compustar ANT-2WFM installed in my vehicle and it has old remotes. I dont really like the old remotes and was hoping to get a newer updated remote that has better buttons and stuff. I dont need any extra functionality. I called compustar and it seems like I can only use the old remotes but they said I can just get someone to upgrade the antenna and then I get new remotes, anyone have info on this or something? the vehicle is already wired and works fine, its just i hate the old remotes since they suck and barelt work 1WFM4R for example
thanks!

There should be a white sticker on it somewhere. CM3000 or CM4000 are the older units.   I might have a chart or list that work with the different controllers if you can locate a model number.
Do a search on EBay for "compustar remote kit". These kits come with the antenna, antenna harness and two remotes. There are four pin and six pin harness types. Not all kits will work with any given controller. What type of range are you looking for? There was a new 4 button AM kit ( 1,000 ft range) listed for under $30 if you wanted to roll the dice.
Soldering is fun!
