Hello

If I want to install a remote start car alarm in a car with a turbo timer, what all should I consider.

I just wonder how will the alarm arm, itself when the turbo timer keeps the engine running.

Will appreciate any help.

Some alarms come with a YELLOW wire that is for cars that would keep the FAN or something running when the car is off. This wire is used so the alarm won't go off or completely arm till voltage to the wire is gone (when the fan or item shuts off).
This is also why it's a good ideat for ANY turbocharged car to let run at idle TWO minutes before shutting down the engine, I am amazed someone actually AUTOMATED it.
Best thing for you is just WAIT till the car shuts down, and use the AUTO arm feature so it will arm once the engine is off. Most car alarms have this feature, an AUTO ARM after you exit the vehicle, and alarms usually will not ARM when the engine is on.

May I suggest a compustar?  Several of their alarms have a built in one where it allows for the engine to cool down, specifically by allowing it run for 2 minutes after you get out.  The vehicle is still secure in that you can shut the doors, lock them, and even if someone did break in in those two minutes the alarm would go off.  Even if it didn't without the key, as soon as they pushed the break to get out of park the car would die. Because of course you'd be running a remote start, and this alarm is capable of remote start on a manual.
