Strange Draw

I have some sort of battery draw coming from somewhere in my car, and I was wondering what the easiest way is to find out where it is coming from... the reason i know about this draw is that i have an alarm LED and it only flashes when the alarm is on or if there is a constant draw on the battery, it flashes when the alarm is not armed, indicating that the battery is recieving a draw from somewhere... it also makes the car hard to start after it has been sitting for an extended period of time.. thanks

If you have a DVM, digital volt-ohm meter, you can test for current draw by doing the following: Set the meter to DC ampere, make sure the positive lead is plugged into the "10a unfused" terminal of the DVM, make sure the key is off, and disconnect the negative battery terminal, now connect one lead to the neg battery post and the other to the negative battery cable(you follow me?) you will then read the current draw of your vehicle at rest, you will ALWAYS have some current draw with the vehicle off, now you can start to remove and replace the fuses of the circuit you suspect is causing the draw until you find the culprit.
