I have been installing for several years and purchased some DEI equipment for my car. Then the car brokedown and I did not fix it. Now I have a new vehicle an am insalling the alarm in it. The alarm is a Sidewinder 5000, separate DEI 551T, and 530T, but I only have the installation manual for the Sidewinder 5000. Looking online at DEI, they only show the new 551T harness with one 12-pin, and one 8-pin connector, plus the relays connector. The 551T that I have has only one 12-pin connector and the relays connector. The wires are as follows(from top of module):
1- Black
2- Yellow
3- Blue
4- WHITE/ Blue trace
5- BLACK/ White trace
6&7- Grey
8- White
9&10- Brown
11- Blue/Black trace
12- Orange
I do remember some of the wire connections, but since I left the Auto Sound industry and went to building fire, ambulances, and police vehicles, I have no access to the older manuals. If someone has the older 551T and 530T install manuals, please help me.

I have an older (95 era) 551t and I'm also trying to find the wiring diagram. I think dewwest just posted the wiring for a newer 551t. The older has 2 gray wires, and two brown wires. Why 2 ?? The first five wires, dewwest is correct. I figured those on my own. black is ground, yellow is ign output to the host alarm, blue is a (-)status output, WHITE/ blue is the activation input, BLACK/ white is the neutral safety input. I know one of the gray wires is a hood pin shutdown wire. But which one? and what is the other gray wire for? One of the brown wires I think is a (+)brake shutdown wire, but which one? And what is the other brown wire for? Also, I think the white is a negative parking light output, not a tach input(But theres a achance I may be wrong). Anyone have any knowlegde about the older 551t's?
