I am wanting to be able to control my electric top with my remote. Has anyone ever done this? The top unlatches and relatches itself so that won't be a problem. Should I use a pulse timer? If I use a pulse timer, do I need 2 of them? Where are the wires I should splice? I have a viper 550esp

yes you will definitly need a pulse timer relay. you should be able to use just one. I do these alot on the new lexus convertibles. Just get the wires from wherever the switch is. Have fun(yeah right)!

☺one pulse timer will run it up and down? I tries earlier this year to use just the switch and no luck. The windows and the top are on the same switch. When I press the top button the windows go down about half way then the top starts to move. Is it possible to just find the wires near the trunck where the wires go into the motor?
