1999 Accord arms and disarms with the door locks on the EX models.  The LX models arm only with the factory transmitter. There is a module that will bypass the OEM security, do the door locks and pop the trunk as well.

The only thing you will need is the bypass module.  but you must give up one of you FACTORY KEYS in order for this to work if you use the key module one... I actually installed a viper alarm/starter on my girls' 4dr honda 98.. Now she has a 02 special edition so I put the 2way omega on that one... If you need the color codes let me know...

Either one of the bypasses will work and if you wanted to you could use the HODL alarm bypass , door lock interface with trunk release ( if applicable ) to bypass the OEM alarm when remote starting. The Honda Accord disarms with unlock and arms with lock. Email me for modules

12 volts - White
Starter - BLACK/ White
Ignition - BLACK / YELLOW
Ignition 2 - Yellow
Accessory - WHITE/ Black
Lock - BLACK/ blue which u will have to get at the factory security module. Worse comes to worse go in the door for them if u cant find it.
Unlock - Orange
Parking lights - RED / Black coming with the main ignition wires or you can plug into the open fuse box slot.
Door trigger - BLACK/ white passenger side fuse box
Trunk pin - orange in drivers kick panel
Factory alarm disarm with no unlock - Blue at the drivers power window switch. If you do not use this wire the security will also disarm with the unlock wire but make sure you hook it up so that the lock wore will get a neg pulse after the car starts to lock the doors again.

Tachometer - Blue which u can get at the distribution block. Or on 4 cylinder engines behind the battery and on the 6 cyliner on a bracket attached to the driver side strut tower.
Brake wire - WHITE/ black at the brake pedal switch
Horn trigger - light GREEN/ blue at the steering column
I have had luck with either bypass but use the key bypass most of the time. Never had a problem with it so why try different things. Good luck!!
