Hello,

Vehicle is a 2003 Mustang.  Installing a DEI 700t (factory keyless to alarm upgrade).   I'm stumped on how to connect the Trunk Release input sensor bypass and the instant trigger input  zone1 (bypass) wires.  Can it work even after the trunk light goes out with the GEM module?

Alarm:

Blue wire = Instant trigger input,  zone 1     to what ??

WHITE/ Blue wire = Trunk release input, sensor bypass   to what ??

Yes it will still work because the factory remote will wake up the gem module.

You will conect the blue wire to the  BROWN / white wire in the drivers kick .  You must cut the brown wire and insert a diode with the cap, silver side, facing the trunk switch.  Then you must tal you blue wire on that side of the diode as well.

You must wire the WHITE/ blue to the wire that will pulse +12 , purple / YELLOW in the DKP when the trunk release is pressed on the factory remote.  Once the blue/white receives +12 and - is applied to the blue line the 700t will by pass the shock sensor untill the trunck is closed again.
