Can I just jump the two starter wires on this car or do I have to use relays?

remember, whatever you do to "jump" the wires will remain, with the remote or with the key.  recommend using separated relays driven by the ground-out off the unit.  this way, they only work under remote....

does the unit not have a second ign/starter circuit?

That's what we did thanks, we used two relays. Someone told me though that the car will start with only one starter wire (BLACK/ white)
We tried using the 555f on this car and it's not working. DO you have any info?

Here's what I have for a 2001, sorry, don't have any VSS info for a 2002. Violet /White behind passenger side dash and/or glovebox. There will be 4 connectors, 2nd from top connector, position 3, 4000 PPM. Let us know if this is the same for a 2002.
