I installed a Crimestopper RS901 Upgrade module for my 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe a few months back but I wasn't able to fix a major problem ... to actually get it to work. LOL.

It's suppose to remote start when I press the lock button on my factory remote 3 times(3 pulses). Unfortunately, the only time it does remote start is when I'm sitting in the car and I press the lock switch(located on the door itself) 3 times. The Green Negative Start Trigger Wire from the RS901 is suppose to be connected to a negative signal wire, such as a negative door lock wire. I think I connected it to a gray wire(DKP 22pin wire harness). Can someone please please tell me what the exact color and location of the wire I'm suppose to connect it to. Thank you very much. Happy Holidays!!

my notes tell me its a yellow wire on a 8 pin connector on the left underthe dash. however all the information you will ever find on any site, book, or program will be refering to the wires an alarm uses to activae the doorlocks, not the ones your stock keyless entry uses. therefore even if the doorlock swtch uses this wire to lock, your keyless doesn't.
in your case i would just go to the door actuator wires, find the one that powers up (+) when it locks, tap into it and use a relay to change polarity to (-) so your ingine start module will work.(if the module has a (+) input trigger you don't need the relay)
