That's not their web store, it's just a reseller. Try http://www.mannixusa.com/.

Why does this company insist upon stating that they design, and manufacture this product?
When in fact, they do not... This unit has been marketed and manufactured in Korea, China, and Tiawan for over 3 years.

I stand corrected, they (12voltdirect.com. 12voltshop.com) are a division of Trilogix Electronics which is a distrubuter of Millennium Max. From their web site, one does get the impression that it is their product.

MaxV6,
I see that alot actually in the field. But, the majority of those companies only sell the product under another name.
Very few companies actually have the ballzzs to actually state that *they* had a hand in the design, and manufacture of such a product.
If one was so inclined, they could sue them for false advertisement. Also the original designer could sue them for patent infringments, assuming they stand their ground in claiming they designed the unit.
At the end of the day, it matters not. So long as the unit works as claimed, with the performance attributes one seeks.
Regards
