Hi Jeff,

do you think they'll give me the info even tho I'm not an authorized dealer (or a dealer at all)?  I went to their headquarters in Anchorage, AK and they wouldnt sell me the alarm without installaton.  but I guess its worth a shot.  I'll try firing off an email to 'em.

I contacted the tech support andsaid that the wiring diagram has not been written for this unit yet ( ???? ) but they will fax us over a copy of it when they get it finished b tomorrow. You've got mail!  Thank you for your help on this.  Have you ever used the channel expander? 

heres an update on the Compustar channel expander.  all you have to do to hook it up is connect the aux 1 output from the alarm to the input on the expander.  then you need to program the alarm with the compustar programming unit (have to go to your dealer).  the expander gives you 7 aditional aux channels and you can program them all for either pulse or latched up to 60 sec.  while you have the programmer hooked up program the rest of your features, its a lot easier than with the remote.  anyway, just thought I'd share for anybody else out there looking to do something similar.
