Hello group

I am installing a Clifford Cyber 100 into a 2003 surburban. Trying to find door lock info on this. This does not use the white and blue wires at the kick panel. It has a harness going directly to the MBEC which has built in lock and unlock relays. I have backprobed all suspected wires but not sure which ones to use. Any information appreciated. Thanks Rick

Rick the only chance you have to do locks the old way is if you have a lock unlock switch all the way in the rear, if not the best and safest way is to buy a module which will interface through the data wire at the obd2 connector, dei has a part number 456g which will work.

Thanks for the information. I have located a dei 456 module but this supplier has suggested using 2 relays instead. I do not believe this will work effectively. i assume that the 456 runs on class 2 data which will have a higher priorty than the OEM door lock module. I would be interested in seeing an installation diagram for this if you have one. Thanks again Rick.

Rick, new product from crimestopper...GM7U all-in-one interface. Does Passkey II, doorloks, arm/disarm, and heated seats/mirrors if applicable. Used for full sized pickups, Trailblazer etc.Works great and saves BIG time!

I'm thinking the GM7U and the DATA1 (aka GMDATA-ALL) are the same. they do passlock II and the functions of the GMDL line very well. they DON'T do PKIII at all (even tho they advertise it does)...doesn't work for sh*t, we've tried. stick with PKG4 and 5 for PKIII.

don't bother trying to do it the "hard way"...the time and effort (and risk) in that is more than offset by the small cost of the all in one units above...

yeah the lock on your truck works with data you need to get a modual that goes connected to the obd2 plug under the dash
