I recently installed a Compustar remote start in a 99 F-150.  However i can't get it to crank over.   I have a DEI 555S transponder bypass.  Will this work in my vehicle.  The place i bought it from assured me it would even though the F-150 isn't listed on the instruction sheet.  Also, should it crank over if i have the key in the ignition (off position).  Thanks

to test if your remote start connections are correct w/o bypassing the immobilizer thats equipped, place the key in the cylinder w/o turning and rmeote start. if successful, your wiring are correct and its now time to bypass the immobilizer equipped.

Thanks.....apparently i have problems with my remote start wiring as it won't start even with the key in the cylinder.  I have a number of wire color codes from different manufacturers....i've tested 12 V constant, IGN 1, and ACC.  Should IGN 2 (RED / black wire) have power in CRANK and RUN positions.  I have 0 V on it while cranking.....is this normal?   I'm gettting an error that says the key is on....but it isn't.  I also wonder when the LED on my antenna should be on.  There is nothing in the compustar manual that tells me....and it isn't coming on at all when i push the button on my remote.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
