I'm installing an autopage fm-2009 alarm into a 95 dodge intrepid, and ran into a problem. Up until now, I was able to arm/disarm the alarm and open the trunk. But when I was working on the door locks, there was a spark from the wiring and a buzz from the alarm brain, and then the alarm started going off. The lcd pager showed I could still arm/disarm, but the siren kept going off and the trunk popped open. I tried taking the power away to see if it would reset, but when I plug it back in, the siren goes off, the horn honks, and the trunk pops open. Do you think I fried the alarm or any ideas what is wrong?
thanks,
draasch

you might have...take the unit apart and look for a bad spot on the board....D/C the power first
Good Luck
