I need some help figuring how to install this remote start. I have many years experience installing car stereos, but I only installed one alarm with a remote start. I just want to be prepared before I take on this job. I know the car has a resistor in the key. Do I need a bypass module or will the alarm disable from the remote starter handle that function. I have read the two Altima installs for 1999 and 2002, but I was not sure if this has the same issues. Any help would be much appreciated.

they may have a by-pass kit out for that car...im not sure. here is another way to by-pass it:
