I posted this already, haven't gotten any replies so I'm trying again with a different subject line. I am getting ready to install a Crimestopper CS-2015FM in my 2002 Avalanche and have a couple of questions. I bought the PL-Data bypass module for the remote start.

I have read the installation instructions and they do not reference the outside courtesy lights anywhere. I would like to have them operate with the unlock on the remote - does anyone know if there is a way to retain them with this system?

The instructions are not that great regarding hookup of the driver's priority for the door locks, any guidance/assistance on this is appreciated! Is there a module that would make this easier?

Thanks for your help.

Joe

NOTES:

*1 - The driver door trigger is gray/black at the driver door module in the door. The RF door trigger is BLACK/ white at the passenger door module in the door. The LR door trigger is lt. blue/black and the RR is lt. GREEN/ black, they are in a harness in front of the fuse box leading to the BCM rear plug. Use all four wires and diode isolate each.

*2 - The BCM (Body Control Module) is under the driver side dash.

*3 - At the BCM in the purple plug, look at row B, cavity two and three should be open with not wires in then. If you make connectors for these pins you can connect them as a( TYPE B ) door locking system.

2003 and up only need the modules for lock and unlock, in your case just use the domelite supervision output and power up all the bulbs you want.
