If you're installing a remote starter and your car has a 2nd ignition, do you have to connect it? IF so do you need a relay ...its a 98 cavvy and aladdin200 remotestart...thanks Cesar

Yes you have to connect the 2nd igntion wire because this wire poweres up transmission computers on some vehicles and if the computer is not powered up, you can damage the transmission. Use this diagram to power up the 2nd IGN wire: http://www.velocitymotorsport.com/images/install_notes/2nd_ignition_relay.jpg

The Aladdin2000 doesn't come with 2 wires for 2 igntions? I've installed crappier units, and they've had 2 wires. I've never done an Aladdin, just curious :-)

Use the GRAY wire in the P9 harness for your (-) 2nd IGN trigger. You must program this for 2nd IGN .

for the relay, take the wire the member posted above this, and use it on terminal 85, then take 86 and 87 to constant 12v, and take 30 to the 2nd ign wire in the car.
