I heard the other day that Vancouer is trying to outlaw car alarms, apparently the noise is inconvient, but having your car damaged or stolden is a good thing.  In Toronto, if your alarm falses, you can get a $110 fine.  Poorly installed alarms, over senitave shock sensors are definetly a problem.  Pay attension to your local officials, or you might wake up one day with another part of your bussiness gone.

Insurance companies are no help, for some reason, they feel that alarms do not work.  Apperently, they have no stats on cars that are saved by alarms.  Guess no one reports good things.

good call on taking advantage of the two way, my clifford rs 3.5 does that too.  but if you park your car and have to leave the range on the remote...then what?  pager system?  i still wish there was more to do than i siren.  itll sound for its programmed duration but then what?  i feel better with my peizos in the cab but i still prefer my large maglite.
