I have a 99 ford ranger i installed a 552 T r/s and everything works fine on it except the park lights when it starts it will stay running for about 3-5 sec if i dont use them it stays running and works fine i have tried the volt sense and the tach wire and nothing seems to help and yes i did use the tan/white located at pin 48 on the PCM i have tried the changing the volt sense from high to low i would rather use the voltage instead of the tach if anyone has any input on this i would greatly appreciate it also it did work fine when i first hooked it up about 8 hrs of it

THANKS

What the?!?!?
Did you say that if you hook up the parklights that the vehicle shuts down?
Run a diagnostic on your install.
Here`s how:
1) Press and hold valet pushbutton
2) Ignition on/off
3) Release pushbutton
4) Press and release pushbutton
5) Observe LED. It should be flashing in groups. Example: Flash,Flash,Flash . . .Flash,Flash,Flash. . .Flash,Flash,Flash
Let me know what you see.
Prepare your future. It wasn't the lack of stones that killed the stone age.

When it goes into its diagnostic mode it flashes 4 times each time it cycles.
