I have a 2002 altima and i install a alarm in it and it requires a double - pulse for unlock. The alarm i have was in my 1995 nissan maxima and it also need double pulse unlock. The problem is in th3e maxima it works fine but in the new altima when in unlock the windows go down about 1/4 inch. Has anyone encounter this problem before?

Yes, you need to program  your alarm to pulse for a shorter duration, maybe .8 secs. when unlocking, if you have that option. This will defeat the window auto roll down feature of the altima.

The relay will do nothing to reduce the pulse duration. You will need to program the pulse to be shorter as MaxV6 sugegsted. Check to see if this unit can be programmed for double unlock as well as a shorter duration.

What wire colors and location did you use for the door lock wires? On some models of the Altima, using the OEM alarm arm & disarm wires will lock and unlock the doors, while other models all you need to do is grab the actual door lock wires instead. On vehicles with left AND right front power window anti-pinch system, use the factory alarm arm and disarm wires for door locks. The anti-pinch is just that, if you have anything in the way of the windows, the windows will no longer go up ( kinda like the elevator doors and garage doors )
