Ok, check this out you guys, I have a 1998 Nissan Altima GXE, Ive installed a remote start alarm on it, so my problems are as follows...in the morning when I want to remote start the car it wont turn on, it cranks but it doesnt turn on, but if I turn it on normally with a key and then shut it off and try to turn it back on remotely, it turns on fine, it only does this when its been off for a couple of hours. My second problem is that when I finally get the car on and I put the key in the on position its stays on for a few minutes but after a few minutes the cars engines shuts-off and the alram goes off, now I know that I wired something wrong here..duh, but what is it? any ideas...besides not driving the car after I remote started...

looms like you need a bypass module, and make sure your brake wire is hooked up.

You dont have an immobilizer, but something is sure wrong. So when you remote start and then put the key in, are you saying that the car shuts off even though you put the key in the on position? That would be weird unless the car wouldnt start with the key as well.
A little more detail would be helpful.

Make sure you have the proper tach wire and learned the tach signal ( lowest possible rpm ) and also check to make sure that you have a good (-) signal going to your OEM security disarm wire. Also, check to make sure that your brake connection is receiving a (+) when you press the brake pedal.

NISSAN, ALTIMA, 1998, Accessory(BLACK/ pink)

When doing remote start, this wire must be isolated from the keyswitch with the accessory relay.

wire as follows: 86 and 87 go to 12v constant

87a goes to the keyside of the accessory

30 goes to vehicle side of the accessory

85 goes to (-) output during remote start.   (if it is D.E.I. , it goes to the small orange wire from the ribbon cable)

good luck and have fun!

do it right the first time....less warranty work=more money!:)
