1997 Camaro Factory Alarm

Does anyone know how to diactivate the factory alarm in a 1997 Camaro? Connecting the negative door lock/unlock outputs of another alarms directly to the switch will only work for 30 second after closing all doors. After that, the unit will not unlock. Please help...
