Howdy all,
I threw in a Solaris in my car a while ago but recently aquired a DEI 508d prox sensor. I was wondering how i attach this to my alarm. There is an additional sensor input, three wires total, red, black and orange. I am assuming I use the red and black on sensor plug and match with 508 for 12v and (-), but what do i do with the first and second stage of the prox sensor (blue and green wires)
The install manual for the Solaris isn't very descriptive on what the orange is for. I am assuming neg (-) trigger, but will it recognize different pulses from the 508d? And could i connect both the green and blue to the orange since there are different pulse times (500ms:green and 1s:blue)?
thanks,
Dustin

I think this function is called "multiplex" or something. Does the solaris have this function?
thanks
