i have a 1992 accord Ex with a Honda factory alarm, but the car came with no transmitter nor does the alarm seem to go off.. the alarm serial # AVZ1102759  and another # AZ69Z4A088.  Can some tell me how to activate this alarm, how does it work and do you have a remote that i can use for it.. or any information you have about it.

Thanks

If it came with a factory alarm,(security light by the dash or in the door next to the unlock pin) it for sure didn't come with remotes. back in 92 honda did not offer a keyless entry in most or their cars. the factory alarm would only activate, and deactivate trhough the drivers door key cylinder.

Now if you wanna make sure it works. with the driver's side window open. step outside the vehicle, close all doors, lock the driver's door with the key and step away from the car for about a minute, then come back and  manually unlock the door from the (not with the key)inside and then  open the door. if it has a factory alarm you should hear the horn honking and the lights flashing along whith the horn!

Good luck and I hope this answers your question
