Hello Well I hope there is someone here who could help me out. I got a autostart 1203 sh Car starter for christmas. trying to hook it up myself. I downloaded the installation off the net. So far I have got the hood pin working and the valet switch is working properly to. When I turn my valet switch on my lights flash 2 times. WHen i try to start my car  with the key pad my lights flash 3 times and thats it my car doesn't even try to turn over. The only wire i haven't hooked up yet is the tach wire not sure which one that one is. Does the tach wire need to be hooked up for the car to turn over. If  it does, can someone please give me some pointers.   Thanks so much

Yes you need the tach wire to have the remote start work. The remote starter uses that wire to see if the car if started and tells it when to stop cranking by reading the rpm's. The wire is a purple white at the coil pack. That car is not that hard to find the tach in so it won't be that bad.

The locks in your car are positve trigger so you will need relays for the locks.
