ok i need some help now. basically when i got my alarm installed everything worked except for the remote start. itll start. but it wont turn over. so then they tell me to come back and now they have the new bitwriter. what ever that is. haha. anyways now it will start. but it doesnt stay started for some reason. so now im even more mad. and all of a sudden they tell me that its the brain thats dead cus i bet they fried it or its actually broken. since they cant re program everything. so basically now i dont have an alarm at all. so before my brain was working but it wasnt starting up. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY?? or is something that they are missing or doing wrong. please help me out. thanks.

-may i say poor installer?
-am guessing the unit is new. then i dont see why it would be defected.
-there was no reason for the bitwriter.
-Nissans have 2 starter wires, i guess he figured that out already.
-perhaps he didnt bypass the immobilizer? this cause the car not to stay on, maybe on for couple of sec or less.

I had the same problem with my remote start. It would crank but wouldn't turn over. I thought it was my tach because i couldnt find it but it was my 2nd ignition wire. I did not have it hooked up at 1st. I noticed that if i had my key turned to the on position and tried to remote start it would turn over. My alarm can be set to check engine status by tach or voltage. I didnt need a bitwriter either to change this setting. Now my remote start and alarm works fine. I have the viper 791.
