I am having the craziest time trying to make this alarm work. I had a MS2007 installed in my car and after I removed that alarm, I thought that I could use the existing connections to hook up the new one. I haven't been successful, and it has already been 4 days. Can you help me with figuring out the remote start.

I just did an Impala SS yesturday and it was a breeze. Used the PLXR bypass fo rhte VATS and the ignition wires were very easy to access. Door lock wires are at the driver's kick panel as well the parking lights are found behind the fuse panel, no need to get it at the switch. Did you get a bypass module for the car ??

No I don't have a bypass module, At least I didn't see one while taking out the MS2005, it had remote start on that alarm as well.

Can you please list all your connections taht you used from the RS to the car and we can trouble shoot better knowing what you  did as opposed to trying to guess what you didn't.

Okay, I got the Power (Red) hooked to the constant 12V Red on the ignition switch harness, I have the Starter Input wire going to the yellow wire at the ignition switch on the switch side. I have the starter output going to the starter side on the yellow wire. I have the accessory Ignition 1 wire going to the pink ignition wire on the ignition switch harness, and the accessory output going to the Brown wire on the ignition harness. The Ignition 2 output is connected to the orange ignition 2 wire at the harness. My passkey system seems to have been bypassed by the previous installer by a resistor that I see installed on the harness that goes to the passkey system. I think that my problem is with the tach and this remote start output (ground when running) wire. I can't seem to find the tach signal in the kick panel, I can't find any RED / blk or pnk/blk wires in the bundles. also I have no idea where the remote start output should be connected.
