I did a stand alone remote starter in one a week or so ago..Probably the same as an 03 but I don't remember the last time I've done an 03..
2004 Park Avenue
Constant - Red
Ignition 1 - Pink
Ignition 2 - White
Starter - Yellow
Accessory - Orange
Accessory 2 - Brown (Might not be needed for RS)
Parking Lights - Brown (+) @ module to the right of the steering column.
Brake - White or Blue (+) @ Brake switch which is right near the module listed above.
Factory Alarm Disarm - Light Green (-) @ Driver door module in the door
Horn - Black (-) @ Harness to the left of the steering column
Locks - RED / Black & ORANGE / Black (-) @ the driver door module in the door.
The ignition wires are somewhat thin you can grab a thick power wire at the module where you pickup your parklights.
Don't waste your time trying to remove the underdash panel. Just pull the very bottom underdash panel and you can access all your wires from there.
Getting through the firewall is pretty straight forward center of the firewall you'll see a big factory harness going through. Pull the piece of sound deadening off and go through there..
I mounted my hood pin on a 90 degree bracket screwed to the strut tower.
I used a PKG4 no key required to bypass the PK3.. Unfortunately the factory alarm DID go off when remote starting even though it was just a stand alone so don't forget to tag the disarm wire!
If you were posting for audio info, oh well..
Good luck,
Mike
