I am about to install a start/alarm into a 92 Subaru Legacy 4 door, and notice on the schematic that it says I need to put an actuator in the door....This car has the powerlocks on it where you lock the driver door and the other doors follow suit....

Isn't there a way to tap the wires or is it pretty much mandatory to go with the actuator?

No because they use what the hyundai have its called remote door locking you have to add and actuator the the driver door only that in turn will lock all the other doors.

Ok cool, just figured there was a way around it.  Guess I will be pulling the door panel :)

No keyless, just the powerlock when you lock the driver door :(
