alarm keeps going off

my viper 500 keeps going off every 30 minutes no one hits ir or near the car. i have to turn of the alarm from the remote so it wont go off during  the night. Anybody have any suggestions that what could cause the alarm to go off. Help would be apprecIATED

check the door triggers

Check your hoodpin switch, too, if you have one.  Maybe it's broken or has too much water build up on it?

the car is 00 camaro. iam new to this so bare with me where are the hood pins and how they look to know if i have them.

do you have anything plugged in?? say a radar detector or a cell phone that stays on when the car is off?? sounds like somthing is drawing power and at the 30 minute interval the alarm senses it as an intrusion.

i had a viper alarm once...i had a cell phone that if i left it on the alarm would trigger just about at the 30 minute mark.
