I'm going to be installing a 791XV+456G+555L into a 04 Yukon Denali. I assume this will be similar to a 03 Chevy Tahoe that I did a few weeks ago.
The question that I have is the when I did the 03 Chevy Tahoe, the factory alarm arms (horn honks) when the 791XV is armed. If the door is opened w/ the 791XV armed, it triggers the 791XV as well as the factory alarm. If the shock sensor is triggered, only the 791XV goes off. Is there a way to bypass the factory alarm permanently? Or am I missing something?
Thanks in advance.

Permanently ground it? Or hook it up to the factory alarm disarm wire of the 791XV?

actually you can program the factory alarm off using the DIC ( drivers info center ) thru the steering wheel controls.... you can also lose the horn honk that way...
