I Have 88 GMC and I would like to know the correct way to wire up my door triggers , so that my dome light will work for 30 seconds when I dis aram the alarm.Do I have to use both wires,do i need to add a relay.

does your alarm have domelight supervision?that is what keeps the domelight on for 30 secs.if your alarm has that separate wire,then you need a relay for it.
as for the door inputs,violet(+) is not used,
green(-)from alarm is used -vehicle wire is white(-)at courteousy light or pin switch.
