I have installed a alarm/ keyless entry onto my crv but i can't seem to figure out where the wires that lock and unlock the doors go.  I have followed the wire diagram and the diagram for the alarm, but nothing seems to work.  i was told to use diodes but i cant even get the keyless to do anything...   if i plug the alarm in, if i leave the doors open, even if it is unarmed, it starts to beep and flash the lights,  is that normal?   i guess the question i have is really;  on the alarm i have 6 different wires to hook up.....  two say to hook up to the door lock switch.... one + and one -, and four are for the central locking .....  two hook up to the  motor and the other two hook up to the actual central lock on the drivers side door,,,, or so it says...  where do these really need to be because what it says on the unit and on the crv wire diagram,, i am confused.

Go right to the switch. Get the meter out and test to output right at the connector to the drivers door switch harness.

I think it's neg. trgr, with the 03 I believe you have to go in the door to activate the locks.

door switch + and - are for the wires that tell the domelight to turn on, not the wires that lock and unlock the door.
What system are you using?   It sounds like the unit you have has built in door lock relays. If that is the case, two wires will get grounded, 2 won't be used, and 2 will go to the lock and unlock wire in the vehicle. If the unit doesn't have built in relays, you will connect the lock and unlock wires directly.

The wires you are trying to use are the door pin wires. Those wires are used to tell the alarm that one of the doors has been opened. The crv has a negative door trigger and the door locks are negative also. So when u hook up that wire to the door lock wires it is triggering the alarm.
You must connect the - door switch wire to the domelight circuit. There are two wires this must be connected to so you must diode isolate the two. The factory alarm module is to the left of the steering column. There is a green plug in which the wires are coming out of. The drivers door pin is green and the rest of the doors are GREEN/ red.
Now on your alarm assuming that you have keyless entry outputs there should be a two or three wire plug for the keyless entry system. Usually there is a red and a green wire. One will be + lock and - unlock and one vice versa. These must be connected to the lock wires which are in the driver side kick panel. WHITE/ blue and WHITE/ green are the colors and they are in a gray plug right above the drivers kick.
Hope this helped

i have tried all of that already.  i have checked everything with a multi meter and when i trigger the unlock on the alarm there is not a pulse on any wires that are meant for the door lock system.  do you think that this feature is defective on my alarm?

You wont get any output on the doorlock wires unless you ground the input wires (I am speculating that this alarm has internal relays) I'm not firmilliar with that exact alarm, therefore I dont know what colors to tell you to use, but generally the manual will explain wiring in terms of a relay.  So for your input (which you are going to ground) use *87.  Then for your outputs use *30.

I hope this helps...if not, how many lock/unlock wires are there?  what are their colors?
