i was just wondering, b4 i instll my remote starter are there more than 1 ignition and starter wires on my  91 mercury grand marquis. ive read that if there are you have to use all to make sure the starter disable and remote start work properly. ive already checked it out on the website and it only lists one of each but i think i remember checkin a while back and it had more than one ignition wire listed. any help would be appreciated

Just one ignition wire but there are two primary ACC wires ( GREEN/ YELLOW ) but only one needs to be powered up.

Your going to need to hook the remote start wire to the starter side of the wire you have cut for the starter kill so the starter can be energized.

i have a pheonix digital pd 175. its tachless and i have to hook the red wire somewhere it gets 12 volts only when the engine is runnin. i know i can hook it to the oil lamp in the dash but im not sure which side to hook it. on one side its hot when the ignition is on. on the other when the bulb is out its not nor is it when its running. so can anyone tell me how to test it to connect it properly or any other place to hook it would be great.

hook it to the 12 volts when engine is on....what happens is the RS reads the 12 volts on the wire and decides to stop turning the starter by that
if its jammed force it - if it breaks in the process it needed to be fixed anyway
