I need assistance with wiring a keyless entry unit in my '98 Monte Carlo.  I researched the vehicle's wiring schematic here and with the KE kit, and both said that the locks are positive triggered with the lt. blue and white wires at the drivers door.  However when I tested the light blue wire it didn't provide any reading, however a grey wire did.  No matter what combination I've tried I cannot get it to work.  What happens is when I press the Unlock button on the KE remote, the doors lock.  When I press Lock on the remote it blows the 12+ fuse on the KE unit.  Any ideas?

your blowing a fuse because your tagged onto the motor wires, i just did one of these cars the other day and the lock wires are definatly blue and white, go back and double check those wires with eiter a test light or multimeter

If anyone in the future needs this info there are 2 light blue wires, use the smaller guage wire.
