Hey every1

I just found this board

I'm pretty new 2 cars electronics... and I really need your help guys... since your all exprienced and skillful ... Please!

I'm looking for a remote strater for my car (NISSAN MAXIMA 2000 GLE with sun roof)

actually first I saw one of these cheap ones in Target  for 40$ but when I searched online found such a cool stuff like these new remote starters with alarm with LCD... so ran to Circuit city and found Prestige APS996C over there w/ LCD  got that also (340$) then I serached some more on line and saw there is such a variety ... called couple places

some said prestige is very good , but many said stay away from it...

so finally is that I'm LOST...please help me

I have 30 days to return all i got ..(and Iw ill for sure return them since I found the prestige on ebay for 130$...)

so now I 'm all ears to hear your advices

I need one with a nice remote with LCD and I want the remote to be smal and handy (I don't need a second cellphone to carry...lol)

I want it to have a better range than my regular OEM remote

I want it to be able to close all my windows (even the sunroof) when I lock the doors

compatible with my trunk release and power door  lock

So please let me know what would be my best choice ...I would GREATLY appreciate your carring and helpfull advice!

thanks2000 Maxima Remote Starter -- posted image.

As far as range is concerned we have had great success with the Compustar units that we have installed with ranges up to 3000 ft in some cases. We have installed many different brands in the past and another one that had great range was the Ultra Starts. As far as installer options, the Compustar was the best bet for us because it had all the features that our customer's wanted.
