Hi;

I currently have a Code Alarm with Remote Start. The remote start only works half the time, so I am replacing the unit with an autopage RS 850lcd. With my Code Alarm, the fan blower motor will only run at the setting that the knob on the dash is at. Often it is turned to low or off while driving, and then left in that position when the car is parked. Thus the reason for the Remote Start is wasted! is it possible to have the RS850 bypass the knob and automatically power the fan to high during the Remote Start? How would this be done? Thanks for any help!!!

Pat

On my 98 Camry, I never shut the headlights off. They go off automatically when the drivers door is opened. When the car is started, they turn on automatically if the switch was left on. So, if I use my Remote Start, the headlights come on. If the Remote Start times out, or if I shut it off through the remote, the drivers door is not opened and the headlight will remain on. Is there a way that I can set up my remote start to shut off the headlights if it times out? Any advice on the Camry is appreciated!!!

Thanks

Pat

For the ehadlights, does the unit that you bought have a wire that will pulse after remote start sequence ? If you do, attach this wire to the door trigger wire. Otherwise what you might have to do is have the AUX channel pulse a signal to the door trigger wire.
