Hi everyone, I installed a FM-5005 (5005 Delta, Commando, etc), and it was working just fine until the FM remote stopped making status noises recently.  The remote does not tell me the status of the car, tell me if the car is trying to start, the status of the locks, etc.  It also does not make noises when the passenger is trying to page me.  Other than that, it works fine.  I have tried resetting the power on both the alarm and remote, without success.  I have also tried holding down the status button and turned the "SND" option along with other options on or off.  I have a "FM TWO-WAY" remote that has 5 buttons and plays entertainer when the battey is put in. What could be wrong?  Please help!

Did you try to reprogram the transmitter? There should be different programming methods for the one way vs the two way since one requires a reply. The programming for those units is sort of annoying so make sure you do it right, or you'll never know if the problem is a programming error or a malfunction.

My manual came without instructions on how to program the remote! I looked everywhere online but can't find anything on how to reprogram it.

Hi everyone, I installed a FM-5005 (5005 Delta, Commando, etc), and it was working just fine until the 2-way FM remote stopped making status noises recently. I have already tried programming under option #22, using both option #1 and #2.  I have also reset the battery for the alarm and the remote.  What could be wrong?  Please help!
