Someone told me I could wire up a Viper 591XV remote start to the memory seat function of my 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee but was very unclear of the exact wiring.  Here is a previous post

the12volt's install bay: Just auto start

Now,  Someone else off this board states that it is NOT possible to do this and states why but I do not under him.  Here is what he wrote:

I'm not so sure that this can be accomplished since the memory function is PCI controlled. The wiring path, starting at the memory switch button panel on the door, consists of 4 wires that lead out of that and head to the nearby door control module. The single PCI wire leads out of the door module (pin 3 Yellow/Violet), goes to the molex door connector, out of that and to the #C305 connector below the Junction Block C4. Since the memory seat switch is resistor multiplexed, you can't just tap into two of its wires to send a pulse. Maybe an electronics wiz could figure something out as devices have been made to communicate with PCI peripherals, that's all beyond my knowledge

These are my questions.

1.  Does the 455J DEI interface module connect to the memory seat function?

2.  If it does not how can I wire the viper 591XV to the memory seat function?  I would like to push the door unlock button which will trigger the seat.  Please state the wire colors, If possible and where can I find these wires.

Thanks you to everyone on this board for there time and effort.

a module from bypasskit.com  . the jdl-pk  module will interface with the vec. you only have to hook up a single

to the data bus on the aldl connector .  this module will control your door lock and also control the memory seat

fuction. when unlock button is push , it will also move the seat to the memory position. i hope this will help you out.

The JDL-PK also rolls up your windows when armed.

Thank you to everyone for your help.  I still have one problem.  I already purchased the 455J which is the Dei interface.  Will it control the memory seats?  Also will my 591XV Remote start (No alarm) arm my factory alarm when the lock is pushed on the viper unit?  People here in Brooklyn NY are only out for your money.  They want $200 for the install and can not answer my questions.  Is there a honest person in the area I can trust?  I need an install!

Thanks

Sal
