Hi guys,

When I remote start the Tahoe the stereo system is powered up. ok. Now if I kill the engine with the remote and/or the alarm kills the engine because it's been running for the predetermined time. The stereo stays on unitl I open the doors. Now how can I do this... I want to retain the feature of the stereo staying on after the engine is killed and the key is removed, but if using the remote start, I want want the stereo to turn on only after I insert the key and turn the ignition on. Is there an output on the alarm that I can hook a relay to that will only allow the stereo to power up after I put the key in and tap the brake? Any suggestion will be helpful.

Being that the alarm is attached to the main accy wire, it will be hard to do this.  Putting your key in only overrides the kill feature of the alarm the accy wire is still powered until you kill the engine.
Do it right the first time
