ebay fully loaded systems

is it wise to purchase a fully loaded system from ebay? it costs less than $100.

Is a fully loaded Kia the same as a fully loaded BMW?

i am sorry, i meant car security system with a remote starter.

I got a CrimeStopper alarm/remote start off of ebay cheap. I didn't need the alarm really, as I put it in a 1990 Chevy Suburban. I mostly bought it for the keyless entry and the remote start. It works great. It did take me about 8 hours or so to install it though. There were a lot of connections that I would never have thought of (like the brake switch, etc.). It wasn't hard, just tedious. So far I am very pleased with it..

Manufactures will honor the warranty unless you are a dealer for them. And since the unit was purchased off line, most will not be. So if you buy a $50.00 unit, make sure you know what you’re doing before you install it, because most sites will not take the unit back. I have seen it many times. The most important part is tech support. The sites will not give you that info. That’s where this site comes in handy. This site is free, however it does cost to have the site. I can speak for myself as well as many others on this site; nothing is really for in life. If you can drop a few dollars it will help keep this site free. I don’t get paid from the 12 volt, however I have donated and helped out many people here. Good luck on your purchase and let us know if you need anything.
