My 2 cents worth - I went with a Commando system, and found the the installation manual(s) were poorly written and illustrated. There's a reason their systems are so cheap. I would not recommend them to someone who has never installed something like this, though there is a lot of great help in these forums, and Commando will send you a wiring diagram for your car if you ask.  I've only had my system for about 6 months, so I can't speak to the quality of their hardware, but problems have developed with my remote start that may or may not be a hardware problem... I'm still hoping for help on that one via an earlier post! Good luck.

Get a DEI rattler, you cant go wrong with a DEI alarm, most of them come with installation viedo on a cd-rom. Also if need any help the people here would help out.
