Are they interchangable with the DEI 530T?  Can I put use it with a Sidewinder 6500ESP? Thanks for the help.

In order to get full functionality of the Smart Windows II, it needs to receive siren (-) output. You might need to use a relay to convert your siren (+) output into (-) ground output for the "yellow" wire on the smart windows II brain.

OK.  But how is the Smart Windows II compared to DEI 530T?  It seems that you can get the Smart Windows II for cheaper than the 530T.  Perhaps because it is discontinued.  I would prefer the 530T but I hate to pay that much for it.  Thanks.

The 530T allows you to vent the windows at any time by pressing the aux channel, and will roll down the windows upon holding the aux channel for about 3 seconds. The Smart Windows II only allows you to vent the windows for 30 seconds after you arm the car, and will only allow you to roll the windows down within 30 seconds of disarming the car. I like it cause I dont ever accidently vent or open my windows when I sit on the remote and accidently push a button. But both modules have their pluses and minuses.
Smart windows II might be cheaper than the 530T now, but before it was discontinued, it cost more. It's been replaced by Smart Windows IV which wont work with your alarm.
