i have most of the wires connected in my 1998 grand prix but just want to make sure i don't need to connect anymore wires before i put my car back together.  I don't have a factory alarm on my car and I'm just hooking up just the basic commands like trunk pop and door lock and unlock for now.  The wires I'm having a difficult time are the remote start primary harness and on the relay satellite the 4 small gauge wire?  I don't  know where I hook up these wires too.  also where does the neutral safety switch connect to?

i wouldnt worry about neutral safety, cars now wont crank unless youre in park.

as for the small relay satellite wires, are you talking about the small blue, pink, orange, purple wires? are they kinda short?  if so, those are the (-) triggers if you needed to add another relay for like second starter, third ign or third accy ect...  if you dont need them at all, just keep the harness in the box for the viper, incase you need it for a futute vehicle.  A 1998 grand prix doesnt need any of those extras.

yes those are one of them i was talking.  I didn't think i needed those wires i just want to make sure.

what about these wires

blue 200mA (-) status output

ORANGE / black 299mA anti-grind/ ground when armed output

violet (-) 200mA accessory trigger

orange (-) 200mA ignition trigger

yellow (+) ignition input for remote start

pink/white 200mA programmable ignition/ accessory trigger

can someone tell me where i can connect these wires too or if i even need them?  would i just need to hook up the yellow wire to the ignition?
