Personally I wouldn't use them but an alarm is an alarm.

The reason I asked is I hadn't gotten an answer on a tech support question in a week from Scytek but yesterday they got back to me with the needed information. Was kinda curious what others maybe had experienced.

The hardware is nice looking. The remotes look sturdy. Packaging in the box was non-existent, as in all items just put in the box. No stickers.

If anyone is interested I'll keep you posted on how the install goes. Will be a week or so before I finish it. Replacing the air plenum this weekend before I do the alarm install.

I purchased the ASTRA 777 sytem on ebay and I thought the install was easy to do and I also installed it myself with a friend and the performance of the overall system is awesome, because of the two way paging system it allows me to be at aproximately one KM and it transmits and recieves just as well.  So compared to any other sytems Ive had in the past including viper, clifford and avital this one is my favorite.  I would advise anyone that is thinking about getting this system to go for it cause for the amount of money spent on this system its the best bang for your buck (122 dollars canadian including shipping and handling)
