I did a search on the subject "Ghost switch" for valet switch and see some entries about it. From what I read it is a feature on the DEI alarms, is this true ?? If so can it be adapted to work on other alarm systems ?? If so how ?? Again thanks for any info.

yes it's true... i wired the valet switch circuit as a ghost switch on my Clifford..... i dont know about other manufacturers, you'd have to contact them....
