I have a clifford matrix 2.5x and last night I got the remote wet.
I took it all apart, dried it with a hairdryer, thing is completely dry. I put it all back together, pressed the lock button, and I get the beeps as if I was out of range.
I figured I had to re-program the remote, so I hooked up the valet switch and tried as the manual said...press once, press again and hold, then press a transmitter button to auto program the remote. I did that with no luck.
Am I doing something wrong? I believe the remote will work since it beeps fine, vibrates fine, and the display is fine. Maybe I'm wrong.

maybe  you toasted the sending part.  usually when something gets wet... its not fine.  you might need a replacement  $50-$100.
