Just got my Viper 791xv and am getting ready to install on my 03 s-10. First off I'd like to know what wires I will need extra and what I wont use at all. Obviously I have no trunk so I am guessing I dont need that, but what I want to do is

1.add a second siren (with battery back up) in a sealed box in my bed

2.add a piezo siren in the cab

3. be able to turn on my 3 sets of offroad lights with my remote

So what do I need to do to make this work?(What size wire with the relays and such?) I am guessing some relays and stuff but I am not sure what exactly. Where is the best place to install the antenna? I've read something about 3rd ignition wire needed in GM's or the transmission wont shift, whats the deal with that? Any good places to hide the brain or first siren in the engine compartment? Do I need to hide the satelite/remote start deal?

Also I was looking through the install guide and the second harness (H2) isnt in the right order.

According to the manual it should go light GREEN/ black, GREEN / WHITE, violet/black, WHITE/ black, grey/black, light blue.
The harness I have goes light GREEN/ black, grey/black, GREEN / WHITE, violet/black, WHITE/ black, light blue.
There arent any other harness that have similar colors or anything so this one has to be it.
I am guessing I need to change the harness to make it look like the manual.

Ok I just looked in the back of the install guide and the way my harness is setup is correct according to the quick reference guide. So any idea on which way is right?

Just got done going through the manual and I looked at all the harnesses and used masking tape to write down where each one goes. So I have a couple questions and I want to double check to make sure I am right on a few things. First off the harness 2 is listed in two different orders in the manual and I am not sure which order is correct. Mine was in a different order than in the connection part of the manual so I pulled the wires and made it look like the connection guide but according to the quick reference guide in the back it was in the correct order before so I have no clue on that.
Wires I won’t be using:
Harness 1
Wire 1 (-) 500mA armed output
Wire 4 (-)200mA dome light supervision
Wire 7 (+) door trigger input
Harness 2
Wire 5 (-) Wait to start
Wire 6 (-) Second unlock output
Harness 3
Wire 1 (-) status output
Wires I am unsure where they go/if I need:
Harness 1
Wire 3 remote start activation
Wire 12 (-) 200mA output
Harness 2
Wire 2 factory arm rearm (would this be DISARM DEFEAT?)
Relay key switch interface wire connection relay (satellite) harness
Green starter input to key side of starter wire(Sounds like I need to cut the yellow starter wire and put the purple wire on the engine side and the green on the wheel side)
2 Red wires to key switch
Orange to accessory wire that powers climate control
RED / White high current outputs
I am also confused on the neutral toggle safety switch setup, the manual made it sound light the GM’s needed a special setup in order to work. Also what exactly does the switch do? I think it keeps it from starting in gear but then why would you need a switch in order to disable the safety feature?
The shock sensor looks like it has been precut and it appears that the green cut wire on the sensor goes to the blue wire in harness 1.
The manual doesn’t really mention the door lock harness and according to the vehicle sheet it looks like both lock and unlock are (+) so I am not sure how to hook that up.
I haven’t bought the piezo siren so I am not sure how to hook that up (connect to relay powering the 2 outside sirens?). Also on how to hook up my hella offroad lights so I can turn them on with the remote I was thinking it would be the (-) violet to 85, 12v (+) to 86, 12v(+) to 87, and the wire to the 3 relays that turn on my lights to 30. Would this work?
I think I have a pretty good grasp on how to do it, even though it sure doesn’t sound like it, just need a little help on the things I am unsure on.
Few general questions, if I press unlock will it unlock both doors, or will I have to press unlock twice to unlock both doors (like it is now)? Will the dome light come on when I unlock it?
I know this is rather confusing for you to read and I have 5 billion questions but I appreciate the help.
