I know, nobody gives out their password to the DEI tech site. Is anyone kind enough to let the downloadable version of the software be "accidentally" placed into my email box?Techsoft -- posted image. My version is old from the 122T days with only a few 2003 cars and unfortunately we do not sell enough DEI for them to let us have it. We're stuck with that damn crappy Audiovox tech info. You know I called them the other day on a Chevy Equinox and they said "you need to hook up the white 2nd ignition wire for the tranny" which it does not have? They are so clueless. Well if someone is willing to help, I'd appreciate it.

no white ign wire

just RED / white, RED / white, yellow, pink, orange, brown like most other GMs (except give a nd take a few on the brown).  and a good old 555L.

Can't help you out with the techsoft program, but Audiovox is listing the same info DEI is listing for the '05 Equinox if it helps..

why not look at a program like Wire Magic?.... it certainly saves time instead of going online every hour mooching wiring info....  i'm amazed at how many "professionals" here refuse to pay to have access to a good source of wiring info.... to me it's just another business expense, like business cards, business tax, etc......

heck, i have access to DEI's techsoft and i still subscribe to Wire Magic and also buy Omega's book every year... the time savings in having multiple sources of wiring info saves my shop hundreds if not thousands of dollars every year in shop time....

Time is money, and if having the correct info saves time then it is worth the small amount of money to have access to good info.

its the same as techsoft with some updates and more vehicles, mainly we use it for 02+ vehicles.  i know techsoft has 02 and some 03 vehicles, but directwire has more.  and its just faster for us to load techsoft in the morning and just change the vehicles info, but we have to log into directechs each use.  we dont leave the browser open because we get logged off after 4min of non usage.

DEI doesn't update techsoft anymore, directwire is replacing techsoft. You can also download directwire to your pc now as well.
