Hi, I was messing with the electrical stuffs on my 96 accord. (Putting in alarm system). Now, my RPM needle jumps like crazy whenever i drive the car. The engine sounds normal, it's just the needle jumps up and down. Only somtimes then it works normally but most of the time it jumps. Please any ideas. Thank You. Oh, another small question. What do I have to check if my passenger side's power window dosen't work? I checked the fuses already, they're fine . Thanks....

The RPM gauge on these Accords are electronically controlled and by installing an alarm system, you would not have touched any of the tach signals or wires coming in contact with the RPM gauge. It might be coincidence that the RPM gauge is flickering like that after you messed with the alarm installation. Get the gauge checked out by an instrument calibrating shop or take it back to a Honda dealer.

If the passengerside window doesn't work, I'd check the motor to make sure that it was not burned out and then I'd check my wiring going into the switch as well.
